Displays don't have to be the only way we interact with software. They monopolize our eyeballs and force us to look at them to do any little thing. But it doesn't have to be that way. We have more than just one sense. We can hear, too.

AI speech synthesis is having a renaissance moment right now. Generated speech is almost indistinguishable from human speech. This is a huge opportunity for all of us. What if you could put your headphones on and listen to your Twitter timeline while you get ready for work? What if you could have your email inbox read out during your morning commute? What if you could listen to your favorite blog posts while you're cooking dinner? Or when you're on a run? Starting now, you can make this life a reality.

Codecasts is the third product built on Chatend that I'm very excited to announce today. Chatend Codecasts allows you to generate your own daily podcasts with AI that can say anything you want. Inside Codecasts, you can provide your own custom TypeScript code to to generate a transcript. This code has network access so you can connect Codecasts to all your favorite platforms such as Notion, Dropbox, Robinhood, etc. Then, you can modify your speech settings, such as voice type, speed, and volume. Codecasts uses Eleven Labs's state of the art voice models, so you will have lots of options to generate high quality speech.

Codecasts workflow

Every morning, Chatend Codecasts runs your code and generates a podcast episode. It will then publish this episode to your very own hosted RSS feed. You can integrate this feed with your favorite podcast player, such as Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Overcast, or Google Podcasts.

Chatend Codecasts is a great way to stay up to date with your favorite content and metrics, even when you're not in front of a screen. It's available starting today!
