Two days ago I ordered a pizza from Domino's and realized: this would have tasted way better if someone else got it for me. There's just something about being cared for that enhances the flavor of food.
Ordering a pizza is good, yes. But what about being ordered a pizza? It's not enough to have a pizza on demand. You should be able to get a pizza without even thinking about it. That's Builder's Pizza. At first I thought, this is probably a stupid idea. But then I tweeted about it and got more of a response than I was expecting. It's probably still a stupid idea, but there might be demand for it, which places it above quite a lot of other good ideas.
So here we are.
The idea is very simple. Give us 20 bucks and your order and we'll make sure a pizza hits your doorstep once a month on a random day. You don't have to think about it. You don't have to do anything. You just have to eat it. And if you don't like it, you can cancel anytime.
We'll send you a text message the morning of your special day, so you can quickly confirm that you'll be home and give us a time that works better for you. After that, that's it. No thinking, no planning, no ordering. Just pizza.
To get started all you have to do is set up your order in the Pizza App. I also built a Pizza Assistant that can handle all of your pizza related questions. You can poke around the app without paying for anything. Once you're ready, we'll send you a payment link to start your subscription, and then you'll never have to think about pizza again. It'll just show up. Like magic.
